Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created position is responsible for contributing to the strategic leadership and growth of the sport at all levels to ensure the long-term success and viability of water polo in NSW. Passionate and enthusiastic about sport, this role will work collaboratively with clubs/associations, participants, communities, venues, sponsors, fans, stakeholders and partners (Water Polo Australia, NSW Office of Sport and Sport NSW) to drive the systems, planning and programs, for improving both business and participation in water polo.

This role will lead and deliver a wide variety of strategic initiatives and key projects including marketing and communications plans, strategic partnerships and gender equity. The role will oversee the rollout of a number of programs including Game Plan, Fun Fit, referee and coach development, diversity and inclusion, as well as the delivery of training and education programs/resources for best practice integrity and governance for member clubs/associations.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clubs and associations at the grass roots level and provide vital support to improve capability that leads to participation and membership growth across the state.
